From Paramount Pictures, announced that the movie "G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation" to delay its release in nine months when his release date was scheduled for within a month. As fans of this fictional character will have to wait until the spring of 2013 to see the new movie.
It is said that there is a justification official and an unofficial but according to the press release that Paramount Pictures has distributed to the media, the decision to change the release date has been because after the first pass with the public it was decided you had to "improve" certain nuances the film and convert it to 3D.
According to this account the reactions to the screening of the film have been very positive, "above expectations", which encouraged them to raise the level of "G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation" to achieve greater success at the box office for spring of 2013.
In the statement Brian Goldner, Hasbro's president, explains: "It is increasingly clear that 3D is a must for movie fans worldwide and, along with Paramount, it was decided to bring fans an experience even more immersive entertainment".
Who does not like the idea of the delay and convert to 3D, as it will shoot new scenes in that format, and then all the tape, is the U.S. director Jon M. Chu who defended tooth and nail the filming of "G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation" in the traditional format because after trying to shoot in 3D, this film has been "like a liberation".
Although the unofficial not say anything good about the delay because, as pointed to this version, the audience was very unhappy with the assembly that was to hit theaters and this scared the producers, since 2012 is still a year very good at that as theatrical releases and also the film would have to compete in a summer that premiere "Prometheus", "The Amazing Spider-Man" and the latest installment of Batman.
In a way, have been thrown into a pool without water for the mere fact of wanting to change some things about the film, some scenes may not have been welcomed by those who have seen the film and for that reason decide to repeat them again and all 3D. Potential for increased revenue could save all the expense that has caused the amount of advertising they have developed a month after its official release now will have to wait nine months and wait for what could be a failure, it becomes all a box office hit in 2013 and taking the film to a few stars such as Dwayne Johnson the Rock and Bruce Willis.
We will see that they fit the two bald heads in the new format.
