Having played the character of Mal Reynolds in the series "Firefly" and having had a brief interpretation of a season on "Desperate Housewives" and have the greatest success playing a writer whose inspiration to write books is a police inspector in the series "Castle", Fillion will play a Greek god in the second part of the adventures of Percy Jackson whose title is "Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Sea of monsters" directed by German director Thor Freudenthal ("Diary of Greg").

Although the success of the first film in the series of Percy Jackson did not have all the success they expected in the U.S., since it had a modest collection of American film, which was less than $ 90 million despite having nearly 100 of budget, have questioned whether a sequel. But their collection data acceptable worldwide totaled $ 226 million, this finally pushed the project to go ahead is not without risks is not also the success you want but hopefully not.

In this new project Fillion will play the god Hermes, the father of Luke, which is itself the enemy of Percy in the second part of this youthful adventure based on the novels by Rick Riordan. So far the actor noted for his television performances and seems wasted in a movie theater comedy success, sure, give a special touch to any tape.

Its release is expected to be for the month of March 2013.
