Tim Burton returns to the fray with a new animated film short that it came true in 1984, but this time the director has thought proper to do so put your imagination and feature new technologies to the best of their ability to create. The result: "Frankenweenie".

Tim Burton does, at last, his dream to revive a project which would be an animated feature with the art frame by frame (stop-motion) but due to budget constraints, the mid-80's, ended conducting a live-action short film.

This time, almost 30 years later, returns to the idea of the art frame by frame. "Frankenweenie" rolling it in black and white and then rendered in 3D, which will lead to a completely new experience in the field of animation.

The history of the new animated film is about a boy and his dog. After the unexpected death of his dog Sparky, little Victor uses science to bring his best friend back to life with a little tweaking of "little importance". Victor tries to hide his creation, but when Sparky gets out, the Victor's classmates, teachers and people will learn to create a whole new life can become monstrous.

For the film were created over 200 dolls and decorations. For the dubbing of the voices in English includes four actors who worked with Burton on previous films: Winona Ryder (Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands), Catherine O'Hara (Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas) Martin Short (Mars Attacks!) and Martin Landau (Ed Wood, Sleepy Holow)

The film will be displayed in both 2D and 3D.

Besides this project, the director, producer, writer and designer, his mind does not rest or while on vacation and this year released another new project cinemetográfico entitled "Dark Shadows" (Dark Shadows) but of which little is known of how will shape the director because it is a story that contains witches, vampires and werewolves.

For now, here's the trailer for the animation to the awaiting its release on October 5.
