Not the first time this New York actor gets into the skin of a classic character as he did in his time in the film "Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows". But this time Robert Downey Jr. would become a more pleasant character stories.
Director Tim Burton has already prepared what will be his next film "Pinocchio" in which will give rise to its Surrealism after seeing others directed by him as "Alice in Wonderland" in which some characters were interpreted by Johnny Depp and Christopher Lee, and that what is already known, the project will follow the same line as the previous film.
Warner Bros. seems to be proposing a new version in which the characters are flesh and blood. For this adventure, Gepetto embarks on a quest to reunite with his lost puppet. The script, whose creator Bryan Fuller has been, nothing is known more as a gag order remains. The production is performed by Dan Jinks, producer of the former, too, "American Beauty".
Although the film project has the approval of Warner Bros. since 2010, due to the tight schedule Californian director has not been set up so far in which Tim Burton, has put his finger pointing up as a candidate for the role of Geppetto, Pinocchio's carpenter father, actor Robert Downey Jr.
Neither Burton nor Downey have reached any agreement with Warner Bros but according to The Hollywood Reporter both the director and the actor would be happy to lead, manage and interpret the new film adaptation, so it would be in contact with the producer.
