Members of the British comedy group Monty Python will meet again for a new film, a parody of science fiction, said the former Python Terry Jones said in remarks published on Thursday.
Been a long time, sixteen years since Monty Python made his last film "The Wind in the Willows" which went unnoticed by the world of cinema.
Now, the surviving members, Graham Chapman died in 1989, reunited for a new movie whose title is "Absolutely anything" film will blend animation and live action and, as Jones said the magazine Variety, will not be exactly of Monty Python "although they certainly have that sensibility".
In the film, members of the Monty Python interpreted in some extraterrestrial coming to the planet to cause chaos and an earthling give the power to do absolutely everything with the intention of seeing the mess it causes.
One of the surprises for the new film is the appearance of actor Robin Williams who will lend his voice to the film and will play a talking dog, Dennis, and apparently more than anyone else understands what is happening.
Terry Jones hopes to start filming in Britain during the next spring.
The last time they saw the whole group together, literally, was in 1998 at the Aspen Comedy Festival (Colorado), along with an urn that supposedly contained the ashes of the deceased member Graham Chapman, the actor who played Brian Cohen in "The life of Brian".
Still we have to wait to see older and more experienced, how it develops and how this new meeting will be at the end of the day the result of the film.
