Not everyone celebrates 90 years in spectacular fashion, working and not wanting to retire. This is what happens to the humble and innocent Senolav born woman who made us laugh, and still continues, with tenderness in the series "Golden Girls" which aired on television from 1985 to 1992 and originally aired on NBC and was shown in over half the world.

Others who were present were Hugh Jackman, Amy Poehler, Joel McHale, Morgan Freeman, Ray Romano, Ellen DeGeneres, Carl Reiner, William Shatner, Chevy Chase, Zachary Levi (who proposed marriage to the star) and President Barack Obama who would not miss the big event.
It would have been a golden and diamonds time if other colleagues and friends of the series "The Golden Girls" were present, although they were in the heart and the memory of all who were in the celebration because, unfortunately, the three actresses who accompanied her on the show, died.
The actress confesses that he has done nothing to deserve such tributes and said feel overwhelmed by the honor but many people do not think so. The documentary was followed by 14 million viewers throughout the United States. "I do not know why everyone wants to celebrate my 90th birthday, if I did nothing special," said Betty White.
Still active, as it continues to act in the series Hot in Cleveland, Betty does not think the "retirement", as the work and be surrounded by their own is what makes him keep going.
Betty White was again present in March 2010, at 88 years old, when she was chosen to present a special broadcast of Saturday Night Live comedy show to mark the "Day of the mother". NBC chose the actress to be the host of the program after five hundred people at their request, the social network Facebook. The episode aired in the U.S. on May 8 of that year with high ratings and critical acclaim. This involvement White earned a new Emmy for "Best Guest Actress - Comedy Series.".
In mid 2010 the actress returned to television with great success with a new comedy entitled Hot in Cleveland. For his work in this series won a SAG Award for "Best TV Actress - Comedy" in 2011 and was nominated for an Emmy for "Best Supporting Actress - Comedy Series". Since the release of White Hot in Cleveland has made some films, including You Again (2010), The Lost Valentine (2011), which was nominated for a SAG Award for "Best TV Actress - Miniseries or TV movie" and The Lorax (2012) in addition to lending his voice to the animated series Pound Puppies (2010).
For many years full of hope, desire to work, love of life and giving courage and strength to all those older people but young at heart who have the example of a great actress and a great person.
Happy Birthday Betty!
