Members of the band Metallica back to their origins. So seriously they have taken that the reissue of their first demo will be released on cassette. Something that seemed forgotten and, if all goes well, may be the return of an old friend who has been with us for many years.

Everyone has a past and musical groups were not going to be less. So the American band Metallica wants us to remember his hard birth in the music world. On April 18, in celebration of Record Store Day, will go on sale an exact replica of the first demo that the group of Trash Metal released on cassette in 1982 with the title of No Life 'til leather.

The launch will be on cassette and its design is the same as the copy of exemplary that keeps the band's drummer, Lars Ulrich. The titles of the songs that appear on the cover are handwritten in his own handwriting.

metallica, trash metal, music, usa, No Life 'til leatherThe group said in a notice that "In 1982 we recorded seven songs that became our initial calling card known as 'No Life 'Til Leather', and it led us to our first record deal. Tthe rest, as you some of you may know, is history!"

James Hetfield (vocals and guitar), Lars Ulrich (drums), Dave Mustaine (guitar) and Ron McGovney (bass) were responsible for realizing their first demo with these seven songs: Hit The Lights, The Mechanix, Motorbreath, Seek & Destroy, Metal Militia, Jump In The Fire and Phantom Lord. All songs were recorded on July 6, 1982 in Chateau East Studio (Tustin, California).

For these new generations who don't know what is a cassette but they love the sound of Metallica, for those people who prefer to have No Life 'Til Leather in other formats, you don't worry. Soon will draw an issue in other formats such as CD, vinyl and collector box. In addition, the band has planned to carry on a campaign of reissues of all their albums. So there is no excuse to have the whole discography of this legendary group.
