Hollywood stands against gun laws U.S.

cinema, film, music, television, Hollywood, video, Demand A PlanThe vast majority of U.S. artists have said enough to the Second Amendment of the Constitution governing in this country and the freedom to buy a gun like who buys a candy in a store. For that reason they have decided to make a video to raise awareness of all the weapons that can cause disasters such as occurred in a school in Connecticut last week.

The actors, actresses, singers and TV presenters in the United States have joined together in a single shot and in one voice to say enough is enough for many innocent deaths. They all come together under the auspices of the organization demandaplan.org, so that once and for all is change the law governing weapons so freely in the United States and causing tens of thousands of deaths each year.

"Columbine, Virginia Tech, Tucson, Aurora, Fort Hood, Oak Creek, Newtown, Newtown, Newtown ...". Thus begins a black and white video about minute and a half in which face numerous American artists like Michelle Williams, Reese Witherspoon, Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz, Ellen DeGeneres, Julianne Moore, Chris Rock, Jamie Foxx, Olivia Munn, Selena Gomez, Paul Rudd, Jon Hamm, Jennifer Westfeldt, Will Ferrell, Sarah Silverman, Brooke Shields, Amy Poehler, Adam Scott, Rashida Jones, John Slattery, Jeremy Renner, Conan O'Brien and Christina Applegate.

After naming these places, tragically remembered, artists, and we imagine that millions of people around the world wonder: "How many more? How many universities? how many more classrooms? How many cinemas more? Many temples? How many malls?".

A chilling video which should bring about a change of mindset in the people but in the National Rifle Association seems laughable because one of the latest ideas that has had this "brilliant" partnership is that U.S. schools are monitored by armed police, although their smart other requests is that teachers and principals of schools have a gun to defend themselves from situations such as occurred in the Sandy Hook elementary school in the town of Newtown (Connecticut) where 20 children and 6 adults were killed by gunfire that caused a 20 year old guy to break into the school and kill everyone who were in its path, then committing suicide.

Thus American artists, and certainly also for almost everyone, give a blow to the table, saying: "It's time to do something", "Now is the time to ask our leaders to do something".

From this humble blog we join the grief of the families and we join the artists to ask that it is time to do something, to change something that long should have been changed, to do everything possible to not return to occur useless such situations. It's time. It's enough.
