The Beatles, One Direction and Justin Bieber donate songs for a charity album to Philippines

Again several singers and groups come together in support of those affected by the typhoon that devastated part of the territory of the Philippines. Songs by Kings of Leon, Katy Perry and Bob Dylan also among those listed in this benefit album that is now on sale.

And they are not the only ones that will work so altruistic. Beyoncé, Eminem, Bob Dylan and Muse are another artists in a long list of artists featured in this new compilation album to benefit those affected by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

'Songs for the Philippines' contains no more and no less than 39 songs. The Beatles open and close this list of greatest hits. For those who want to buy and help those who are suffering right now, the collection is now available on iTunes. Another contribution found in the album is a remix of Katy Perry's new single, 'Unconditionally', a song by Lorde not found on any album, 'The Love Club' and many others offered by many different musicians included U2, Madonna, Lady Gaga, One Direction, Lily Allen and Enrique Iglesias.

The money raised from the album that it will only cost €11.99 ($16.27), honestly ridiculous compared to other collections, and all that obtained from the iTunes service First Stream will be donated to the Philippine Red Cross to help relief efforts in the country. A double treat for these Christmas dates that are quickly approaching. On the one hand get an album full of great songs and secondly, help the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.

Other musicians have also put their two cents to donate to the cause of the Philippines. David Byrne, who was the leader of the Rock American band Talking Heads, held a benefit concert with members of his musical "Here Lies Love", co-written with Fatboy Slim and it explains the life of the former first lady of the Philippines, Imelda Marcos. For other part, the rock band from San Francisco, United States, Journey donated $350,000 to the World Food Program of the United Nations to help those affected.
