Depp will be under direction of James Bobin.

If we thought Alice had had enough with the trip to Wonderland and meeting wacky and sinister characters, really, we were wrong. The character created by writer Lewis Carroll seems to want to take another vacation and enjoy, once again, of the bizarre landscapes that was found to reach to the castle of the Queen of Hearts, she so fond of cutting heads.

Johnny Depp, movies, Hollywood, Alice in Wonderland, cinemaIt is not the only member of the shooting that liked this fantastic world. Another person, in this case in the real world, that enjoyed the experience and wants to repeat, is the American actor and producer Johnny Depp. According to entertainment website Deadline, Depp will portray the Hatter character in the sequel to "Alice in Wonderland", is titled "Through the Looking Glass".

This time will be under the direction of the director, writer and British producer James Bobin, director of "The Muppets", released in 2011. Apparently, the actor had already signed the movie contract with Disney in March, although it has been now that we've heard all the news. That's how you have to keep a good secret.

Although there is still no official date for the start of filming of "Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass", we know that the film will feature Australian actress Mia Wasikowska, who plays the main protagonist film.

Before starting this project, Johnny Depp has to organize his schedule very well. He is immersed in multiple projects. After the premiere of "The Lone Ranger", whose film has had not very good reviews, the actor shares shoot these days with Morgan Freeman in "Transcendence". In autumn he will begin filming "Black Mass", which Depp is responsible for interpreting the mobster Whitey Bulger. As if that were not enough,he takes part in the Broadway musical "Into the Woods" with Emily Blunt and Meryl Streep, and, once again, he will get into the skin of Captain Jack Sparrow in the fifth installment of "Pirates of the Caribbean". Hopefully that he doesn't go late for any of these projects.
