Jeff Daniels has closed, finally, any doubt that would have on recording or not the sequel to "Dumb and Dumber". A photo posted on social networks, where he appears with his partner Jim Carrey, shows that both players are ready to start the filming.

For those who were willing, or maybe not, there was a sequel to "Dumb and Dumber", are in luck. The mystery was revealed with the publication of an image in which the actors Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are characterized of the characters of the film. Which implies that the recording of the film will go on the right path after many months of rumors and denials, and after Jim Carrey resign to the film in mid-2012.

Daniels himself just has wanted to prove it upping a photo on his Twitter account after it was published on WhoSay social network, whose message read: "We're back!". In the picture we can see that the only difference between the characters of the first and the second part of "Dumb and Dumber", are the years. It has been almost 20 years since the original film was shot.

Having won his first Emmy, Jeff Daniels told at ScreenRant in a series of interviews that the actor offered after winning the Emmy for Best Actor in a Drama, that after celebrating his award, catch a plane to Atlanta to start recording of "Dumb and Dumber 2". Daniels also commented that this sequel is considered "The intellectual free-fall from [Will] MacAvoy to Harry Dunn, imagine if you will.".

He has also promised that the new film will have scenes that make it "that make the toilet scene [in the original] seem lame". For there was not nothing left in the pipeline, and comment flattering, almost absolute rally, to his partner Jim Carrey, remarked that the best part in the movie is: "I get to work with a comedic genius.".

The direction of the sequel to "Dumb and Dumber" will be given by the Farrelly brothers, Peter and Bobby, who will repeat behind the camera to direct Carrey and Daniels. Bobby, announced at the time that the characters have not matured over time, to be as silly as ever, and that the plot will focus on the search for the son of one of them: "The story starts that one of them have been able to father a child. They want to go find the kid because the father has a kidney problem and needs to ask one of his kidneys."
