Roger Waters regrets having brought to trial at Pink Floyd

Bassist and former leader of Pink Floyd, Roger Waters, has revealed in an interview with the BBC that feels remorseful after having denounced the former components of British rock group. Again returned to apologize and has sung the "mea culpa" after starting a legal battle in the mid-80s, for the rights of the songs.

A Roger Waters seemed to sound in his head one of the songs of the legendary band, "Money", when after bringing to market the album "The Final Cut" in 1983, an album dedicated to the memory of Waters' father, Eric Fletcher Waters, died in combat in World War II, he threw himself into one of the worst problems you can have a band, denounce bandmates David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright, to get intellectual rights songs from Pink Floyd, since, according to words of Waters, the band had "a spent force creatively.".

A legal dispute that lasted two long years and, in the end, settled out of court. The entire group met at David Gilmour's houseboat before Christmas, to end all this mess. The desire to end the root problem and, perhaps, the spirit of Christmas, did the rest.

So Roger Waters has confessed in an interview with the BBC in which he stated that "yes, I admit, I was wrong, of course I did, but, who cares at this point? It was a business decision and, in fact, was one of the few times I learned a lesson after a legal dispute. ". He added that "I thought this was wrong and it was me who was".

After the departure of Waters of Pink Floyd, the British band continued with two more studio albums, "A Momentary Lapse of Reason" (1987) and "The Division Bell" (1994). Despite their differences, at Live 8 in 2005, the members of Pink Floyd in full, gathered to play together. Six years later, and without Richard Wright, who died in 2008, repeated the experience surprising the public of London's 02 Arena during the show by Waters, The Wall.

Roger Waters has also confirmed he is working on his first solo album in over twenty years "I'll make another album. I've Had a very, very strong, and I will follow it, and I do, at least, a new album". His latest solo rock, was published in 1992 under the title "Amused to Death". In 2005 he published the opera "Ça Ira".
