British Sonisphere is canceled by the crisis

Sonisphere Knebworth, the franchise of the British rock music festival, with a branch also in Spain, today announced the cancellation of its 2012 edition because of the crisis and unable to cope with the costs that this event would cause.

The circumstances are all around the world because of the crisis, failing to meet the costs of any event. Many of these cultural events, musical events especially, have had to cancel a festival.

That's exactly what has happened to rock music festival Sonisphere Knebworth in its British version. Disappointed why they could not cope with everything and seeing they could not offer sufficient quality to please all hardcore to go to the event, have made the Web message apologizing for the cancellation: "Unfortunately, circumstances have dictated that infeasible celebrate the festival with the quality that both artists and the public expect from Sonisphere."

Regretting the incident continue to say: "Remove the festival later in what is proven to be very challenging one year has been more difficult than expected, and have spent the last months fighting hard to keep Sonisphere in the calendar."

This fourth edition was to be held from 6 to 8 July would be a very special edition because it would be the reappearance of the band Queen with Adam Lambert in the lead, were to provide a single concert around the world on the same stage in which the charismatic and unique Freddy Mercury offered, twenty-six years, his last concert. Too bad the British band's fans can not live an unforgettable experience.

In addition to Queen, the event would also have performances by Kiss, Faith No More, Marilyn Manson, Evanescence, The Darkness, Mastodon and Within Temptations, among others.

The organizers have said that all those who have purchased tickets will be reimbursed the money at the same points of sale in which they were acquired.

It should be noted that only and only canceled the British event Sonisphere. For now, the absence of more information, festivals of other European cities where British franchise has branches (Poland, Switzerland, Finland, France and Spain) remain without any problems.   

In fact, the Spanish festival is now the best poster of all the places at which to celebrate and it is best to be announced tomorrow new groups. Currently there are groups on the bill, the largest and wildest groups as regards the other countries are: Metallica, Soundgarden, Slayer, Mastodon, The Offspring, Machine Head, Evanescence, Children Of Bodom, Fear Factory, Limp Bizkit, if confirmed.

Concerts will be held on 25 and 26 May in Getafe (Madrid) and for football fans warn that one of these days coincide with the final of the Copa del Rey of football.

It seems that for Spain the crisis does not exist and we all know that in reality, it is not so. Hopefully there is no repentance after one and can maintain the quality offered on the poster. A shame not to have this whole list of groups in the UK and will have to wait for news of other countries but, apparently, it held no problems although it can take them into the future.
