After much searching and digging to see who could be the son of cop John McClane in the fifth installment in the saga of "Die Hard" actor is already selected. Twentieth Century Fox has won the Australian character actor Jai Courtney.
Paul Dano, Paul Walker, Aaron Paul, Milo Ventimiglia and Ben Foster, were possible candidates for interpreting the rod McClane in a new adventure with the dangers that we all know and have seen in the four previous installments, but it was the actor Jai Courtney, one of the stalwart actors from the series "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" who played the character of Varro, who has gotten the opportunity to interpret by the protagonist of all previous editions, Bruce Willis.
The new installment of the series will be called "A Good Day to Die Hard".
The official story "Die Hard 5" McClane takes us to an international stage, in this case to Moscow, and will present to his son Jack, who has just escaped from a Russian prison which has been jailed for a leader Russian, much like his father in character and which is very distant from him. Jack may be even more stubborn than his own father but despite their differences father and son will have to work together to stay alive and to safeguard, neither more nor less, than democracy. It has been allowed to see this image of the test by Courtney passed before he was elected.
Not the first time the stubborn NYPD has to save his family and gets into trouble for it. In addition to being always in the wrong place at the wrong time and have them and want them to his wife and ex-wife Holly Gennaro, in the fourth installment, the veteran police had to save the world and her teenage daughter, Lucy who gave life to actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead. This time is the son who is in trouble.
Directed by John Moore whose titles to his credit are "Max Payne", "Flight of the Phoenix", "Behind Enemy Lines" and written by Skip Woods (Hitman, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, The A Team) the fifth installment of "Die Hard" will be released on a very present, the February 14, 2013, Valentine's Day. Good day to show a "hard" boy.
