The virtual band Gorillaz has introduced its new video for the song "Do Ya Thing". Throughout the month, we are listening and watching developments, promotional products, until finally we have heard altogether last week.
"Do Ya Thing" is the collaboration of Damon Albarn (Gorillaz), Andre 3000 (OutKast) and James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem) who made this video - TV commercial for the sports brand, Converse. All this in order to promote a pair of sneakers designed with the characters of Gorillaz.
The video includes two new characters, one as a martial arts baboon dressed as a postman and a masked man who appears topless in random places around the house. A house that could be reminded that British series of the early 80's entitled "The Young Ones" but with a touch closer to the XXI century in some respects but not change much from the original.
The character is walking around the house watching the scenery inside it and looking in every room where the other components of the virtual group including the masked character truly something heavy to appear in many places in the house even in the refrigerator.
A very surreal video clip that runs its plot between 3D and reality. Video and music Gorillaz style which we are accustomed.
