The leader of the British band Muse, Matt Bellamy, commented that the next album of the group will be a radical change in reference to the album released in 2012, 'The 2nd Law', comparing it with a "comedown" of their musical ambitions and live concerts.
Speaking to the interview with Rolling Stone, Matt Bellamy reveals the intention to "reconnect" with the primitive sounds of the group and experience less in the new songs. Back to the roots of their music.
"I've got a pretty good picture of what I'd like the next album to be like," Bellamy said. "It's the comedown and the sort of waking up the next day being like, 'What the fuck? What the fuck? That was crazy'...I kind of feel like it will be nice to reconnect and remind ourselves of just the basics of who we are."
Speaking of what the new album will sound, Bellamy continues: "I have this strong feeling that the next album should be something that really does strip away the additional things that we've experimented with on the last two albums, which is electronics, symphonics and orchestral work and all that kind of stuff."
These new observations echo the sentiments made by Bellamy earlier this year 2013 when he admitted that the members of Muse not expect to be in a position to post anything new until 2015.
Earlier this week , the English alternative rock band released a documentary DVD about the concert held at the Olympic Stadium in Rome , entitled "Muse - Live at Olympic Stadium Rome". The concert was filmed in 4K, also known as Ultra High Definition, with 8.8 million pixels on screen, four times more than the industry standard in film today . Who has it in possession, will see and experience this show as if you were in this concert again and again without having to pay any ticket
