The woman who originally starred Viv's aunt in "The Prince of Bel Air" said there is a very good reason she was not in the meeting with the rest of the Banks family. The reason is clear, the actress Janet Hubert hates the protagonist of the series, Will Smith.
15 years after the series ceased to be issued, Janet Hubert told TMZ that she was still upset about the way he was fired from the series. She added that all the blame of the whole thing was one's own Will Smith.
The actress, who originally portrayed this character does not want to hear about his former co-star as it claims not to be as kind to her.
"There will never be a reunion ... as I will never do anything with an asshole like Will Smith" Hubert said.
She added: "He is still an egomaniac and has not grown up. This constant reunion thing will never ever happen in my lifetime unless there is an apology, which he doesn't know the word."
From overnight the character of Aunt Viv was changed from a fairly sharp and was noticed by viewers and fans of the series since the difference between them was evident. Likewise was the dismissal of the actress in 1993 which was replaced by Daphne Maxwell Reid, who also went to the meeting.
Hubert has said in the past she believes Smith is to blame for her departure in the middle of the show's run claiming he turned on her because she wouldn't kiss his butt.
The site tried to contact the well-known actor to ask for the reasons of their differences with the actress but has chosen not to declare anything about it.
It seems that it was not gold that glittered in the series or the "real" family was so good avenue for that, 15 years later, still continue having these disagreements between the actor and actress.
