"Ghostbusters 3" will begin filming in 2014

For those who expected to see flying, once again, the ghosts of the island of Manhattan, are in luck. The filming of the third "Ghostbusters" is closer, unless there is some other last-minute setback.

Dan Aykroyd, one of the protagonists of the two previous installments and creator of this reunion, was who gave the news in an interview on ABC News. "I feel refreshed and invigorated with script pages I've seen. Know we will have the second half of the script very soon. The film will begin pre-production this autumn and filming next year.

This new return of Ghostbusters was not born without problems. Starting with a script written not finished and has had to rewrite a few times and still not finished. Continuing with actor Bill Murray, one of the protagonists of the trio of Ghostbusters, closing any possibility to participate in the film. 

But not all bad news. The third protagonist of the series, the American actor Harold Ramis, has agreed to participate in the filming of "Ghostbusters 3". The director of the first two installments, the Canadian of origin Czechoslovak, Ivan Reitman, also said repeating this experience: "I'm more motivated than ever. Sounds real now. We have a smart writer about it, Ivan is, Harold is, I am, and if I can convince Billy and bring him, it will be wonderful.

Reitman will have a little difficult to convercer Murray as the actor is quite busy right now, after the completion of filming of "The Grand Budapest Hotel" by director Wes Anderson to be released in 2014, is on the set "The Monuments Men", a film written and directed by George Clooney which also includes actors as Matt Damon, Cate Blanchet and Jean Dujardin
