Mexican group Mana immortalizes their handprints in Los Angeles

The Mexican group Maná are in luck because your hands will be forever etched in the cement in the Guitar Center store, one of the rock temples of the city of Los Angeles. "The Walk of the Rock" honors in this way the great musical path component of this group.

Multi-platinum, Grammy numerous awards and 30 million albums later, the group Maná actually makes chasing a dream that had since they were young and starting in the world of music, leaving their handprints on the Guitar Center site pilgrimage in Los Angeles for rock lovers in general.

Thus, the hands of the components of the Mexican rock band forever leave their mark on the cement of this legendary store. Beside fingerprints, pictures and signatures of great and illustrious artists as Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, Steve Vai, George Martin, Jimmy Page, Iron Maiden, Johnny Cash and bands like Queen, AC / DC and Aerosmith.

Fher Olvera, Sergio Vallin, Alex Gonzalez and Juan Calleros, went back into his favorite store this once proud of all they have achieved throughout your career.

Remembering old times and as a child with new shoes, Fher looks back and says: "Long ago we came here with little money saved to buy our guitars, as a child goes to a toy store. Now happens this great honor and unite us impressive artists. As Latinos and Mexicans are proud to share it with the fans and the people who believed in the band".

Drummer Alex Gonzalez yet keep his feet on the ground thanks to Guitar Center tribute and treat them with dignity because to them it's like a dream, in the same way that when a novice four members of a Mexican rock group began a journey that has taken them far, specifically the Olympus of Rock in Los Angeles. "It is so important that shops there to help musicians who have the same dreams as us". 

Dave Weiderman, president RockWalk maintains that Mana receives this award with great honor by the impact it has caused in the Latin rock scene through the years. And they still has much to offer new generations

That's not to say this is the final point of the group at all.
