Nobody put hands to the head. Juanes, Miguel Bosé and Shakira have decided to let their music careers to pursue the profession of journalism but have decided to unite for a good cause, become journalists for peace for a day.

Colombia and the newspaper "El Tiempo" in particular for one day will become the stage for peace.

The works are now scattered. On one hand, Juanes, will become the director of the Colombian newspaper which already takes about two weeks to work preparing the special edition of the newspaper and talking to the news editors to be focused on this issue, peace. Instead, Miguel Bosé and Shakira will be a topic columnists but even without knowing who will be dedicated to reconciliation and peace.

The trio accepted the proposal to be journalists for a day without any problems and Juanes, said in a statement that the main objective is to promote content to "purposeful vision, optimistic, inclusive and hopeful, but with that reality is unknown the country.".

The director of "El Tiempo" stressed the commitment of Medellin singer, Juanes, with peace and justified its decision in which the composer is "a man closely identified with social causes and reconciliation".

The conference was held under the theme "Time to change" (Es tiempo de cambiar) which the chorus of his song "Love Hate" (Odio por amor) , and intended to be the ultimate finale to a full day of discussions dedicated to peace and national reconciliation and, though not coinciding this project three years ago than previously thought, with the start of peace talks between the Government of Colombia and the FARC on October 8 in Oslo (Norway).

It's not the first time that this initiative is organized in the world, since the idea was inspired by a similar project developed by the British newspaper "The Independent" in May 2006, when singer of U2, Bono, led a edition devoted entirely to spread the impact of AIDS in Africa.
