Justin Bieber gives $500,000 check to Children's Wish Foundation

The concert, taped for a Christmas TV special, Justin Bieber: Home For The Holidays,on MuchMusic and CTV Thursday night, was one hour late in starting at the historic Massey Hall.

The big delay was in part because the Stratford, Ontario native spent time backstage with three young fans, Jalissa, 10 years-old, Jake, 8 years-old and Harvey, 16 years. Each of whom have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and asked to meet the global pop phenom.

They performed hit songs like “Mistletoe” and “Baby”, and Christmas cover songs and classics, in front a few thousand shrieking Beliebers.

Earlier in the day Justin Bieber showed off his hockey skills while skating with members of the Toronto Maple Leafs at Air Canada Center and he dropped by the Daily Bread Food Bank to make a donation.

Justin Bieber lives up to the charity of the people as a public figure and shows that not only can sing but is also charitable to children suffering from illness or other cause in their lives.
